Social networking
Social networking provides libraries with the opportunity to market services to the community and also with the library itself. It also provides a great way of communicating ideas and opportunities that are available in the library. Also if there multiply library locations these could be connected this way providing easy access for staff and library patrons, it provides an excellent way of communicating without the physical location restricting access.

Wikis of the world
Wikis are great examples of sharing information on all sorts of topics. We'll never have to talk again! However I think there is room for all sorts of ways of information sharing and the world is truly global in its accessibilty.
news of the world
Creating a RSS has beeen a really exciting and worthwhile experience. No excuse for not being up todate on all the news of the world! It is all happening out there and we are a part of it.
